FURTHER to your article (Globe, April 16) regarding the unusual plant, Puya Alpestris, which flowers every 10 years and is now in bloom in Ness Gardens Glasshouse.
Are people aware that the University of Liverpool intend to demolish the glasshouse and have no intention of replacing it - and that visitors will be denied the opportunity of seeing this exceptional collection if future?
