HOW can the tunnel toll be raised and then justify the wooden flower boxes with plants in them - and who was the bright spark to say how many?
There are far too many - we only have to have some warm weather and the flowers etc will dry out and die. Or if the heat does not kill them the carbon monoxide will.
Anyone with even the slightest bit of gardening knowledge knows that tubs dry out very quickly. The suppliers must be rubbing their hands with joy.
Where did the money come from when things are so bad? How can all this be allowed to go on with no mention of this to the people of Merseyside? How disgraceful.
