BIRKENHEAD St Mary's surprised Manweb to win by 64 runs in the Bromborough Paints Merseyside and Southport Alliance on Saturday.
The Wirral side made only 92, but then dismissed the electric men for just 28 with Shakeel Nawaz claiming 7-10.
Parkfield Liscard easily took the derby at Tranmere Vics by nine wickets. John McClennan finished with 5-6.

Caldy fell by 10 wickets at Norley Hall, where they totalled 94.
Port Sunlight maintained winning form in the Merseyside Competition by 10 wickets over visiting Hale.
Shaftesbury totalled just 28 in defeat at the hands of Whitefield and Bromborough were also losers against Cheshire Lines, but Maritime won by 84 runs at Aigburth, with Sutha Karan reaching 81 and Anton Jastin taking 4-19.
Wirral and Parkonians both suffered heavy defeatS in the Meller Braggins Cheshire League.
Neston won against Heaton Mersey in the Premier Division of the Right Move Abroad Cheshire County League.
Upton took the Division One derby against Birkenhead Park by six wickets and Oxton accounted for Bollington by a similar margin.
In Division Two, Irby held on for a draw against Bredbury St Marks.
There was also an Alliance programme on Monday. Birkenhead edged out neighbouring Tranmere Vics by one wicket with Mark Simpson getting a vital 33 not out. Nawaz had a 4-32 haul and best for Vics were Bob Southwood on 50 and Ben England, 5-37.
The Parkfield Liscard and Caldy fixtures were washed out.
