The Bennetts British Superbike Championship finally kicked off last weekend with two incident-packed races and the countdown is now on to Oulton Park this Bank Holiday Monday (3/4/5 May).
Shane 'Shakey' Byrne on the Airwaves Ducati and HM Plant Honda's Cal Crutchlow left Thruxton joint championship leaders after taking a victory apiece, with Michael Rutter taking his first double podium since 2005 for the North West 200 Ducati team.
Karl Harris will be returning to the grid despite his massive crash at Thruxton that saw him knocked from his Rob Mac Racing Yamaha by Tom Sykes' flying Rizla Suzuki.
Oulton Park was voted the fans' favourite BSB circuit in 2007, and it traditionally provides the closest race finishes of the season, with some of the most memorable races in the history of BSB taking place at the Cheshire track.
With Byrne and Crutchlow currently joint at the top of the standings and the likes of Harris, Sykes and Leon Haslam fired up to make amends for a disappointing start to their title campaigns, it will be a superbike showdown next weekend.
Shane Byrne, Airwaves Ducati: "I'm really looking forward to getting back to racing again. The season has started so well for me and I am really enjoying riding the Airwaves Ducati 1098R.

"Oulton Park is technically quite a challenging circuit but I achieved a podium there last year so I'm looking forward to continuing my run of good form, securing more championship points and hopefully extending my championship lead.
"I've had such a great week so not much could wipe the smile off my face right now."
Cal Crutchlow, HM Plant Honda: "I like Oulton Park a lot. I've had numerous Supersport wins there and didn't do too bad on the Suzuki last year as I was top five.
"Oulton is a real riders' circuit, so we know that the likes of Shakey, Michael (Rutter) and Leon (Haslam) will go well there. I'm looking forward to carrying on the season in a similar position to where we are now and be up there for the rest of the year."
The Bennetts British Superbike Championship heads to Oulton Park on 3/4/5 May. Raceday tickets cost from £22 for adults, with free entry for children aged 12 and under when booked in advance.
