BIRKENHEAD St Mary's and Parkfield Liscard both won, but Caldy and Tranmere Vics lost in the Bromborough Paints Merseyside and Southport Alliance at the weekend.
Birkenhead beat visiting Prescot & Odyssey by five wickets with Shakeel Nawaz making 61.
Parkfield Liscard made it by two wickets at Moorfield. New Zealander Adam Young made 38 and took 3-45. Kamran Hussein took 4-34.

Jason Cooper claimed 3-40 for Caldy in a 123 runs defeat at Alder.
Tranmere failed by 52 runs at home to Sutton. Gary Francis finished with 4-37.
Port Sunlight, on their return to the Merseyside Competition, beat St Mary's College Old Boys by 108 runs. Brendan Woods contributed 59 and Mike Graham 57.
The Meller Braggins Cheshire League derby between Wirral and Parkonians was drawn.
Neil Jones scored 61 for Wirral and Ray Peel took 4-31. Best for Parks were Chris Hitchell, with 4-32 and a knock of 34, and Chris Beckett, 4-80.

Merseyside and Southport Alliance: Alder 215-6 declared, Caldy 92; Birkenhead St Mary's 194-5, Prescot & Odyssey 192; Moorfield 131, Parkfield Liscard 132-8; Tranmere Vics 67, Sutton 119.
Merseyside Competition: Port Sunlight 196-9 declared, St Mary's College OB 88.
Cheshire League: Wirral 176-9 declared, Parkonians 127-8.
Alliance games on Saturday include Birkenhead St Mary's v Moorfield, Caldy v Burscough, Parkfield Liscard v Manweb and Tranmere Vics at Southport Trinity.
In the Competition, Bromborough go to Hale and Port Sunlight to Mossley Hill.
