THE action will come thick and fast on West Kirby Marine Lake this weekend as West Kirby Sailing Club stage their ever popular Wilson Team Racing Trophy event.
The competition in Firefly dinghies starts on Friday and the final is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
A total of twenty eight teams comprising three helms and three crew will take part. There will be a round robin system with the leading clubs then going into the knock-out quarter finals.
West Kirby will race two sides as will Royal Thamas.
Cambridge University have three teams listed and there are also entries from such as Oxford University, Royal Dee and Royal Forth.
The Americans will not be present this time round as they will be coming over for a world event later in the year.
