A DOZEN crews took to the River Mersey at the weekend as Liverpool Yacht Club / Tranmere Sailing Club began their new series of winter races.
Bada Bing owned by Andy Farrell and Andrew Napper headed IRC Class One from Adam Kyffin’s Eazi Tiger in Brass Monkey Race One.
Warwick Telfer went well clear in Class Two aboard Clarevouyant with Stuart Lofthouse in Skukusa the runner-up.
Joy Rider (Andy Bracken) sailed over in Class One in the Tinsel Star. Happy Now was the only finisher in Class Two.
The next Mersey racing is scheduled for Sunday, January 19 with a late morning start.
