RONNIE Moore plans to make changes to his Tranmere squad ahead of their League One game with Hartlepool tomorrow.

The Prenton Park fixture, which kicks off at 3pm, will be the 112th time they have met.

Rovers secured their place in League One next season after beating Walsall 1-0 last weekend.

The win took Ronnie Moore's squad to 11th on the table with 54 points.

But with nine points still to play for, Ronnie hinted that he intends to make changes to the side for tomorrow.

"There are players here who need the work next season and that's the most important thing to remember.

"There's 63 points we can go for so I'm hoping that the lads are in the frame of mind that they want a job and they want to finish well.

"There are three games to go and I'll probably make a few changes for Saturday.

"I need to look at players in various positions so there will be at least two changes.

"But that doesn't mean we're on the beach and the season is over.

"I want to finish well and it's up to the lads who want to stay here to get out there and prove it."

Tomorrow is the first of Rovers three remaining games of the season.

They are away against Colchester on April 28 and end the season at Prenton Park on May 5, taking on Scunthorpe.

Looking to the final games Ronnie, who returned to Prenton Park in March and is in talks about his own future, continued: "I'll keep the nucleus of the side because we want to win it.

"I'll put two in this game, two in at Colchester and then the lads who haven't had a game will have against Scunthorpe and it will then be make your mind up time."
