TRANMERE Rovers are 90 minutes away from a potential place in the FA Trophy final at Wembley – and will be on their way if they beat Macclesfield Town in the second leg at Prenton Park on Saturday.

The two sides drew in the first leg at leg at Moss Rose last weekend.

The winner of tomorrow's match will assure themselves a trip to Wembley on Sunday, May 21.

During a press conference at Rovers' Solar Campus training ground in Leasowe, manager Micky Mellon said: "It's a huge game for the Club.

"There's an awful lot of work yet to be done but we're certainly looking forward to the occasion.

"We're looking no further ahead than Saturday, we've tried to attack every tournament that we've entered by using the squad.

"To try and give the Football Club the opportunity of getting to Wembley is something we shouldn't let pass us by.

"We've got a responsibility to the fantastic fans to go and try and give them an opportunity to follow their football club, our football club, at the national stadium".
