TRANMERE Rovers manager Gary Brabin is looking forward to what promises be a tough game against Lincoln City this weekend.

Their last encounter on Good Friday ended with a 3-2 victory for the hosts at Prenton Park.

Brabin is hoping the squad will pick up more points on Saturday.

Their unbeaten start to the season finally came to an end – and with it their top of the table status – on Saturday when they were beaten 3-1 by Aldershot at the EBB Stadium and Brabin hopes the squad will use this weekend as a chance to get back to winning ways.

During a press conference at the club this afternoon, he said: "It's going to be a tough test.

"They are an ex-league club, looking for promotion. We're hoping to bounce back after last weekend's game against Aldershot."

"It's one that we are relishing. Hopefully will pick up another three points."

Assessing this weekend's opponents, he said: "Being an ex-league club they won’t just come here and park the bus, they will be here because they want to win.

"We need to be ready for that."

"The main focus is on ourselves, but we’re always conscious of the threat they pose.

"It's the kind of game we enjoy playing, because we get more opportunity to attack."
