TRANMERE Rovers youth scholars Tolani Omotola, Sam Ilesanmi and Daren Askew have signed their first professional contracts at the club.
After finishing their two-year scholarships at Prenton Park, the three players were each offered one-year deals and today put pen to paper.
Omotola said: "It's a great opportunity to show what I can do. Last season was a good season for the three of us and I’m really pleased to have signed my first professional contract."
Ilesanmi added: "We need to keep working hard and see if we can make it into the first team."
Askew commented: "I'm ecstatic to have signed. I just want to try and make a big impact next season and do really well."
Manager Gary Brabin says that the contracts for the three youngsters have been hard earned.
He said: "I'm really pleased for Tolani, Sam and Daren.
"They have deserved their professional contracts for all the hard work they’ve put in over the last two seasons.
"We had a close eye on them in training last season and watched them in games so I'm looking forward to working closely with them alongside the senior professionals at the club."
