TRANMERE Rovers' manager Gary Brabin says his squad are 100% ready for this weekend's match against Bromley at Prenton Park.

Rovers are unbeaten in seven matches while the visitors have won their last six matches and sit in 4th position, above Tranmere on goal difference.

Brabin's men made it back-to-back wins in the National League last weekend as Andy Mangan's goal secured all three points for Rovers, with a 1-0 win against Cheltenham.

The striker took his chance when it came his way following Lois Maynard's flick-on.

Saturday's opponents come to Prenton Park off the back of six straight wins in the National League with the division's leading goalscorer in Moses Emmanuel.

Assessing this weekend's visitors, Brabin said: "The start that Bromley have made is no surprise. They're used to winning, they have a winning mentality having won the league last year and they play good football.

"The league is going to be competitive so I don't think there should be any surprises.

"There are a lot of tough fixtures along the way and we're 100% focused on the big game that we have on Saturday and hopefully getting the win."

Brabin will be without captain Steven Jennings, serving a one-match suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 1-0 win against Cheltenham Town last Saturday.

Also out is striker James Norwood, who is serving the second and final match of his suspension. Defensive duo Martin Riley and Marcus Holness are also doubtful, because of injury.

On his team's performance, Brabin said he was pleased with his side's recent form that have seen them close the gap on the sides at the top of the table.

He added: "We want to be in and around the top end of the table. We were 12 points off the top spot a couple of weeks ago, we're only five points off it now and I'm sure that will continue to change week in, week out.

"We want to be the best we can be. The side is getting better. We realise that every game is going to be tough but I believe we are good enough to win most games."
