TRANMERE Rovers' National League campaign continues with a televised away match against Welling United on Saturday.

Manager Gary Brabin is focused on getting his team right for the game at Park View Road, which starts at 12.30pm and will be broadcast on BT Sport

It comes a week after Rovers drew 2-2 with Kidderminster Harriers at Prenton Park and the squad has been working on the areas they need to improve on.

Brabin said: "We're trying to focus on being consistent. We want to get better and we realise that we are getting larger periods in games where we're looking better.

"But we need to keep improving on that, we need to stop conceding goals, create more chances and be more ruthless and score goals.

"At this moment in time, it's not about the opposition. We're concentrating solely on ourselves. We know we are better than what we're doing at the moment.

"It's a common theme, a lot of people we speak to are saying that Tranmere has been their best game so far because everyone is up for it.

"There is no need to motivate their players and we've got to get used to that in every game. We need to be professional and realise we can't switch off."

Defender Liam Hogan said: "Whether it's 12.30pm, 3 o'clock or 5.30 kick-off time, we'll be ready to do the business.

"Every team in this league can beat each other on their day. Some teams will set up to frustrate us, some will have a go but it's important that we do all the right things.

"If we can keep to the standard we set in the first half of the last game for the full 90 or 95 minutes, we'll beat any team on our day."
