MISSING: Steve Jennings he is suspended for next three games
RONNIE Moore believes luck will be on Tranmere Rovers' side when they take on promotion-chasing Doncaster at Prenton Park this weekend in a vital Coca-Cola League One clash.
On Saturday, his squad drew 1-1 against Bristol Rovers in front of 7,777 spectators at the Memorial Stadium. It cost them their hold on fifth place, dropping to sixth spot with 52 points - the same total as fifth-placed Walsall, who have a superior goal difference.
With eight games over the next four weeks, Moore knows Tranmere have it all to play for if they are to make it through to the May play-offs for the final promotion ticket.
On Saturday (kick-off 3pm), Tranmere entertain third-placed Doncaster at Prenton Park before away fixtures at Oldham Athletic (March 8) and runaway leaders Swansea City on Tuesday, March 11.
Said Moore: "The games in the league are so tight, you can never predict what the score will be. But we've dug in and it's working. This month will be a big challenge and you have to be mentally strong.
"We always knew we were never a million miles away from the top and we're getting close. People say you make the luck by hard work and I think we've done that."

A 74th-minute goal by Antony Kay on Saturday was equalised seven minutes later by Bristol's Craig Disley.
Rovers are currently mid-way through a week of rigorous training to prepare for Saturday because as Moore explained: "Doncaster know how to keep the ball and we're going to be right in their faces and go for it. We need to be rock solid and in shape to do some real damage."
Missing from the line-up for Saturday's crunch game is Rovers' midfielder Steve Jennings, who is serving a three-match suspension following dismissal for a foul on Bristol Rovers' Chris Lines.
As a result, he will also miss the key games at Oldham and Swansea. Antony Kay also received his eighth booking and is just one away from missing two games.
Moore said: "Antony is a quality player, there's no doubt about that. He uses the ball really well as a defender. But Saturday's silly booking took his points up to nine and if he's not careful he misses the next two games."
