DOUBLE ACT: Jennison Myrie-Williams, left, and Ian Moore scorers in Tranmere's impressive 2-0 win at Leeds United
COCK-A-HOOP Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore believes fan power can propel the Prenton Park club towards its dream - a place in The Championship.
Rovers did their hopes a power of good on Saturday by recording their fourth successive league victory at the most unlikeliest of places - promotion rivals Leeds United.
The 2-0 success has had a dramatic effect on Rovers' promotion challenge, lifting the club into the top six for the first time this year.
That would guarantee them a place in the end-of-season play-offs for the one remaining promotion place . . .
It is not inconceivable, however, that Rovers could clinch automatic promotion - they are now only four points behind second-placed club Doncaster Rovers.
Moore believes Tranmere fans have a crucial role to play in making the dream come true.

He said: "The big thing about the Leeds game was that there were nearly 25,000 people there and we've gone and enjoyed it.
"You can freeze on the day, but we kept the crowd quiet - we stamped our authority on the game and went on from there.
"For the players it's a big lift to go and play in front of that many people. Our support was magnificent - it's nice that we put in a performance that the supporters warranted."
Rovers face another critical hurdle this Saturday when they welcome fellow promotion rivals Leyton Orient to Prenton Park (kick-off 3pm) - and Moore believes the home fans have a big part to play.
He said: "We're only just above Leyton Orient so it is a big match for both teams. Another win would put us four points ahead and well in the end-of-season play-off places.
"As I have said, our support at Leeds was magnificent and, hopefully, we can have something similar at Prenton Park on Saturday."
It's been a good week for the Moore family - on Friday the manager brought his son Ian, snapped up from Hartlepool United for an undisclosed fee, back to Prenton Park and on Saturday saw him score the second of the two goals at Elland Road. Jennison Myrie-Williams scored the first.
Thirty-one-year-old striker Moore will stay with Rovers until the summer of next year.
Rovers take to the road again next Tuesday (February 12) when they visit Brighton & Hove Albion (7.45pm).
"Our job now is to keep the motivation bubbling and build on the confidence," said Ronnie Moore. "It's nice to look at the squad and think we've got the players who can get on with the job of scoring goals."
q Rovers striker Gareth Taylor has joined Doncaster Rovers on a free transfer.
