He scored his first goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Yeovil and is in the squad for Rovers' Prenton Park fixture against Gillingham tomorrow (Tuesday, January 29, kick off 7.45pm).
Jennison said: "I'm very pleased to be staying at Tranmere. I've enjoyed my time here and the team is doing well. There was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to continue playing football here."
Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore is equally delighted. "I'm really pleased Jennison has agreed to stay and I'd like to thank Bristol City manager Gary Johnson for agreeing to let him play for us until the end of the season.
"Jennison has improved since he has been at Tranmere and has a lot of potential. He adds pace to our side, causes defenders problems and I'm delighted to keep him at Prenton Park."
