TRANMERE Rovers have today completed the signing of defender Andy Taylor from Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year old, who has signed a two-and-a-half year contract at Prenton Park, was in the second month of a loan spell at Tranmere.
Having impressed in his 13 games for the club, other clubs, including some in The Championship, made offers to Blackburn for his services.

However, Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore is delighted Andy chose to join his squad on a permanent basis.
"Andy is a brilliant signing for us," said Moore. "He has turned down a move to The Championship to come here, which shows the level of our ambition.
"He is a quality left-back who attacks as well as he defends, which is rare today."
He added: "I'd like to thank the Chairman and Board of Directors for allowing us to bring him to Prenton Park."
Andy Taylor said: "I'm really pleased to be joining Tranmere. I've enjoyed my time here on loan and I'm looking forward to playing more football here.
"I had other offers, but Tranmere was the club I wanted to join.
"We're only seven points off the play-offs with a lot of games left this season and we'll be doing everything we can to close the gap to the teams above us."
