TRANMERE have signed Watford striker Marvin Sordell this afternoon on a one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old is a first year professional with the Hornets who has made four first team appearances this season and been a regular in their Reserve side.
His first competitive goal came against Leeds United in the Carling Cup.
Rovers boss Les Parry said: "Marvin is a very promising young striker and I'm delighted to have signed him on loan.
"We've been short of goals recently and hopefully Marvin will bring us some added firepower. He's fast and strong and will be a good addition to our squad.
"I'd like to thank Watford manager Malky Mackay for allowing Marvin to come on loan to us."
Marvin will be available for selection for Tranmere's home game against Oldham Athletic on Saturday, February 6, kick off 3pm.
