HAVING secured the league title back in February, and also booked their place in the Cheshire Cup Final, Wirral Junior Colts have now reached the Under-17 Northern Plate Final.
Wirral beat Leigh 20-5 in the quarter-final before beating West Hartlepool 18-0 in the semi-final.
They face Old Rishworthians in the final on Saturday (April 6). The winner of this game, as Northern Plate champions, will go on to play the Midlands champions for a place in the national final against the Southern Region champions.
