UP WE GO . . . Caldy and Wirral players battle for a line-out ball in Sunday's Under-16 clash at Paton Field, Caldy.
It was the third match this season between the two sides, Wirral having won an Under-16 Cheshire Cup tie 22-5 and Caldy the other by 17-12.
What a great game this latest clash turned out to be. Caldy won 12-6.
Caldy's Alex Dillon completed a well worked move with a good run to score under the posts. Joe Parsonage converted. Chris Higginson scored in the corner and Wirral put three points on the board with a penalty.
Caldy led 12-3 at half-time.
The only score in the second-half was a Wirral penalty.
