ALL roads head to Hartsfield this Saturday for the most important New Brighton versus Birkenhead Park derbies for decades.

Victory for Birkenhead will give them the North One West League title and with it promotion to National Three North on which they just missed out last season after a play-off against Huddersfield YM.

Success for New Brighton will boost hopes of staying in the division.

The Blues are currently second bottom three points adrift of Bolton and seven behind Eccles.

Form could count for little in this crucial meeting. The first game was close with Park just getting the verdict. It could be another nervy, even contest.

Certainly Birkenhead will want to clinch the title now rather than rely on their last game seven days later against Kendal.

The Blues will not want to lose so as to allow them to go into their final outing at Wilmslow with survival still a real possibility.

Saturday's kick-off is 3pm.

Caldy and Wirral both have home games with little but pride at stake.

Caldy in National Three North entertain Birmingham and Solihull whilst Wirral welcome promotion chasing Sale in National Three North.

Hoylake, second bottom in South Lancashire/Cheshire One, face a big challenge away to West Park.

Anselmians are due at Manchester Medics.

In Division Two there are home matches for Port Sunlight against Trentham and Prenton against Southport.

Division Three fixtures include Wallasey at Knutsford, Ellesmere Port at Liverpool University, Oldershaw v Congleton and Oxton Parkonians v Capenhurst.

There were no league games involving any of the local sides over the Easter period.
