Warrington struck a purple patch either side of half-time to secure a safe passage into the quarter-finals of the Carnegie Challenge Cup with a 32-16 win over Bradford.

The Bulls were clinging to a 6-4 lead four minutes before half-time but the Wolves, back-to-back Wembley winners in 2009 and 2010, found their scoring touch to run in four tries in 14 minutes and establish an unassailable 26-6 lead.

Australian winger Joel Monaghan scored two of them on his way to completing a hat-trick to settle a fifth-round tie which will be best remembered for the whistle-happy display of referee James Child.

Brett Hodgson, Chris Riley and Ryan Atkins also went over for the hosts, with Adrian Purtell, Keith Lulia and Olivier Elima touching down for Bradford.
