VAUXHALL Motors manager Carl Macauley expects the majority of his squad to remain at Rivacre Park, following the club's relegation from the Blue Square North into the Unibond Premier Division.
The exceptions are Peter Heler, who was signed in the Autumn from Alsager Town until the end of the season and wants to find a club closer to his Potteries home, along with defenders Joe McMahon and Craig Robinson.
That means that the Motors boss expects to see the likes of long-serving Alan Griffiths, former Tranmere star Ged Brannan, the experienced Mark Maddox, full-backs Lee Owens, Lee Dames and Jordan Holmes, midfielders Ashley Williams, Jonathan Egerton, Keith Smith and Tom Hannigan and strikers Paul Taylor and Thomas Carroll, all to be on board for the new challenge, as well as goalkeeper Lloyd Rigby, who had recently signed a new contract with the club following his release by Rochdale.

Joining Macauley on the sidelines will be former striker Anthony Wright, who will be his assistant, having spent most of this season with Colwyn Bay. Meanwhile, reserve team boss Alan Farley, who guided the second string to an impressive second half of the season in the West Cheshire League, after joining the club in October, will continue in this role, which is a huge boost to the Motormen after initially believing that he would be moving to new pastures.
