CAMMELL Laird are ready to take their place in the Unibond League Premier Division next season . . .
The Birkenhead club, who have risen almost to the top of the non-league ladder with four promotions in the five seasons since they left the Carlsberg West Cheshire League, are looking forward to local derbies' against the likes of Vauxhall Motors, relegated from the Blue Square North Division, Marine and Prescot Cables.
It will be all hands on deck at Kirklands, Rock Ferry, this summer as Lairds prepare for life at their highest level.

Club spokesman Paul Mcloughlin explained: "We have prepared a report of works to be done in the close season to get grade C' of the Football Association's ground grading rules.
"This includes a new stand, extra toilets and an additional turnstile. We want to get it all done by the end of July, so will be looking for names to put on the chain gang in the summer.
"We simply don't have enough supporters - an official supporters' club will be set up during the summer months. It will be set up in line with successful fans' groups which will be essential to spreading the word of our great little club - we will be speaking to some of the good people we've met from other clubs for advice so we do it right . . . we've got a 10-mile radius of a quarter of a million people, so there's no reason why we can't be getting 300-400 fans per game."
Laird wrapped up their Unibond League Division One South season on Saturday with a 2-2 draw at Lincolnshire club Brigg Town.
It was, perhaps predictably, more like a friendly than a league match.
Paul Grime put the home team ahead after just four minutes - a lead they held for 16 minutes before Lairds equalised through Mark Reed, who has been scoring for fun since signing from Vauxhall Motors.
The advantage went back to Brigg after the break with a deft lob over Lairds custodian Paul Whitfield from Daniel Barrett.
Battling Lairds restored parity after 67 minutes when an Anthony Sheehan cross landed too close to Reed's feet to control - but Joe Gibiliru was on hand to thunder the ball into the net.
