YORK stages today's feature card with some cracking racing in store at the Knavesmire, including acknowledged Oaks trial, the Musidora Stakes at 2.40, in which classy fillies from the powerful yards of John Gosden, Aidan O'Brien, Jim Bolger, Sir Michael Stoute and Barry Hills line up.
For the nap, though, I am looking to the race after that in which O'Brien's US Ranger is fancied to come on for his seasonal debut at the Curragh last month and establish himself among the ranks of the top sprinters this term.
Selections
York: 3.10 US Ranger (nap) 3. 45 Ainama 4.55 Allied Powers
Exeter: 2.20 Hernando Cordobes 2.50 Coeur d'Alene 4.30 Ocean Du Moulin
Fontwell: 2.30 City Affair
Bath: 6.30 Sharav
Perth: 7.40 Willing Weasel
