IN the early stages of any new Flat season, it's not uncommon for horses fit from winter jumping campaigns to take advantage of that racing edge in middle and long-distance handicaps.
Quite a few such animals are in action today and two that particularly catch the eye, both at Southwell, are Lady Pilot and Pertemps Networks. The latter fairly bolted in at Newcastle 17 days ago and is strongly fancied to follow up in the last at the Nottinghamshire course. However, its chance is likely to be reflected in a pretty short price and, in the hope of getting a little bit better value, today's nap goes to Lady Pilot in the 3.15.
