DONCASTER'S Mile Stakes at 3.35 is the most valuable event on a day when the racing is very much a mixed bag. There are only eight runners but a fair case can be made for at least five and Peter Chapple-Hyam further muddies the water by saddling both Medicine Path (Jamie Spencer) and Don't Panic (Alan Munro), both of which won last time out. I am leaning towards the latter - but only just.
Whatever the outcome of that race, joint champion jockey Spencer can enjoy success at the Yorkshire track in the 5.15 in which Magic Echo can land the nap.
Selections
Doncaster: 3.35 Don't Panic 5.15 Magic Echo (nap)
Kempton: 4.30 Dicoh
Newbury: 4.00 Appleday
Uttoxeter: 3.45 Brochrua
Wolverhampton: 9.20 Supporting Role
