TODAY’S nap nomination runs in the day’s longest event, the 2.10 at Exeter, the appropriately-named Axminster Carpets Devon Marathon Handicap Chase. Course-and-distance winner The Risky Viking is an obvious contender, but I’m going to side with Richard Johnson’s mount, Toulouse-Lautrec. Tom George’s charge is lightly raced for a 12-year-old, shapes as though the trip could suit and hopefully will give us a good run for our money at decent odds.
