A BUMPER day for racing fans with good Flat meetings at Newbury and Doncaster, top jumping action at Aintree and Chepstow, and the big Breeders Cup meeting over in the US this evening. My nap though runs in the much more modest sphere of Wolverhampton’s all-weather card this evening where Eric Alston’s Invincible Lad is taken to topple likely favourite, Anne of Kiev from the powerful John Gosden stable in the 8.50 event.
