THREE teams remain unbeaten in division One as R&C Dukes continued their winning streak when overcoming a gallant Irby FC side by the odd goal in seven.

The 4-3 victory was sealed with a fine treble strike from Rob Langton and a single from Chris Galvin.

A late equaliser by Chris Byrne enabled The Clarence to share the spoils with Cetco Europe who led through goals from Daren Parry and Ally Kewin, with Phil Knight netting the first for Clarence in a hard fought but even fixture.

Grange Moreton rued many missed chances as they slipped to another defeat away at PLCCFC who won 5-4 in this nine-goal thriller.

On target for Grange where Jay Rice-2, Sean McManus and Neil Tully, with Jason Flaherty-3, Jack Robinson and Matty Keogh scoring for PLCCFC.

The only fixture in division Two ended in a creditable 3-3 draw between Rockpark FC and AM Plant Hire, which keeps both teams unbeaten so far.

In an end-to-end affair Rockpark registered through Anthony Clarkson, Wayne Ball and an own and netting the responses where John Walters with a brace of goals and Eddie Carruthers with a screaming late equaliser.

Two teams gained walkovers in the Cheshire FA Cup 1st round and where Great Float S&S whose opponents could not fulfil the fixture and Poulton Royal due to their opponents failing to adhere to cup rules.

Primrose FC were eliminated by Real Reform, but Millhouse cut Forest Road FC down to size with a 7-0 thrashing that had Liam Jameson bagging a hat-trick, Paul Cupit firing a double and James Clare and captain Jamie Quinn completing the rout.

Wirral FA Junior Cup 1st round action saw The Rakers gather a fine 3-0 success over Beehive, but The Vineyard fell to the same score against Cheshire Yeoman.

Sandbrook FC failed to hold on to a one goal lead and lost out in extra time 1-2 versus Beechwood Falcons, but The Black went trough with a 4-1 victory over Ridger Athletic, thanks to Stuart Speed bagging a treble and Craig Richmond adding a single in a good team effort.

Mixed fortunes befell our teams in the Wirral FA Youth Cup 1st round as Heswall Youth and Manor Youth fought out a 1-1 draw after extra time and ended with Heswall winning 8-7 in a penalty shoot out.

Stork Youth got a walkover against Shafts Youth, but Neston Nomads were stung by Wirral Scorpions 5-3 in a great game that saw Nathan Demetrios, Patrick Kenton and Harley Price net for Neston.

Ben Bailey continued his scoring run for Christleton Youth when claiming four goals against Higher Beb JFC and Tom Richardson netted a fine double to wrap up a 6-1 winning margin.

Despite Dan Beddows netting for Rossway United, they were beaten 4-1 by AC Hoylake and New Brighton Youth eased through to round two with a 5-0 defeat of Eastham Rangers, due to goals from Rhys Wynne-3, Shaun Scott and Tarique al-Shabazz.
