HESWALL Youth went top of the Youth division when beating Eastham Rangers 8-0 as Luke Blondel blasted home four goals, with Lloyd Smith, Ben Jones, Danny Ward and Callum Thompson also scoring.

Only one point behind are Christleton Youth who delivered a 7-0 success over Stork Youth with Sean Brisbane-3, Ben Bailey-2, John Crump and Gareth Hughes their marksmen.

Also riding high are Princes Villa who edged out Higher Beb JFC 4-3, despite efforts from Jack Cook, Josh Poole and Joe Dixon registering for Beb.

Joel Adey was a three goal hero for Manor Reds as they claimed their first win with a 3-2 result over New Brighton Youth and Ridegwood Rangers stung Wirral Scorpions with a 4-0 defeat.

Goals from Josh Davison and Wes Osumjima were not enough for Neston Nomads as Upton Youth showed them the way in a 4-2 victory.

A double strike by Rob Horgan allied to a single from Ben Cullen gave Heswall Athletic a 3-1 win at home against Manor Youth.

Rockpark look to be the tough nut to crack in division Two following their 7-1 eclipse of AFC Tima (Dan Walsh) thanks to a treble from Tom Williams and doubles from Jay Waters and Steve McShane that keeps them in top spot. Second are The Black who netted a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw Shippons, who had Tom Cook and Adam Chadwick on target.

A brace of goals from Paul Williams allied to a Steve Dadoma single earned Ship Wallasey a 3-2 success over The Rakers and Poulton Vics claimed their first win when beating Autumn FC (Jack Morfe) 3-1, due to Chris Cousins, Craig Smith and Scott Naylor scoring.

AM Plant Hire had Rob Bergwin, Mark Sharrett, John Walters and Ged Cubbin to thank for their 4-0 win against The Vineyard, which sees them up into fifth place and still unbeaten.

Amateur cup results saw FC Victoria edge home 2-1 versus Gallaghers thanks to a goal apiece from Graeme Plant and Danny Holdsworth and The Clarence had Paul Sprakes-3, Rob Allen and Jay Lloyd on target as they beat PSV Athletic 5-0.

R&C Dukes beat fellow leaguers PLCCFC 5-2, as Mike McCann-2, Ashley Robinson-2 and Chris Galvin scored, but Cetco Europe lost 3-1 to FC Ellies and a 3-0 loss to AFC Houlihans.
