FORMER goalkeeper and current supporters' player of the year James Coates has agreed terms to rejoin Vauxhalls from Blue Square North rivals Northwich Victoria.
The 24-year-old was ever-present last season for the Motormen last season and kept a number of clean sheets to help Vauxhalls to their highest ever finish in of 12th in the Blue Square North but was lured away to Victoria in the summer.
Before too long, however, it was clear he was surplus to requirements at the Marston Stadium and went out on loan to Welsh Premier League side Rhyl up until last month.
The postponed Boxing Day clash at home to Northwich Victoria has been rearranged for Tuesday, March 2 (7.45pm KO).
The New Year's Day clash away to Norwich Victoria also fell victim to the weather and this has now been rearranged for Tuesday, March 16 (7.45pm KO).
Next up for the Motormen is the long trip to Stevenage Borough this Saturday, January 9, for the second round of The FA Trophy.
Stevenage are the current holders of The FA Trophy and also sit on top of The Blue Square Premier league table following the 4-1 demolition of Cambridge United on New Year's Day.
