AN all-action Dutchman Cup Final that ebbed and flowed and could have gone either way saw Halfway House claim the trophy with a late winning goal in a nine-goal thriller versus North Wirral Saints.

House took the lead but Saints then went 2-1 ahead before the scores were levelled just before the break.

House regained the lead only for Saints to bag two more efforts to lead 4-3 with only minutes remaining, but a late equaliser took the game to extra time and saw House net the decisive goal to run out 5-4 winners.

On target for House were Joe Skinner (2), Josh Roberston and their man of the match Andy Simpson with another brace, with Jason Stephens (2), Callum Saint and Jon Holden bagging the responses.

The battle for the First Division title intensified as JASGA PV retained their 100% winning record with a 7-0 defeat of AFC Tima to keep them top as Daren Pritchard (3), Mark Cullimore (2), Dave Finnigan and Lee Pickles found the net.

Upton Town took the spoils in the derby game versus Upton FC with a 3-2 victory thanks to Patrick Taylor, Alex Pitt and Tom Ward firing the goals.

St Andrews United went top of the Second division following their hard fought 4-3 success over PLCCFC who remain second on goal difference.

Grove Youth division action saw AC Hoylake and Allport Hawks play out a 0-0 draw, but West Kirby United Panthers doused the ambitions of Phoenix the Flames when running out 25-1 winners.
