There are also new leaders in the CWFL Olympic Trophies Division One. With St Saviours on cup duties Upton JFC took full advantage by beating Blacon Youth Reserves 4-3 with goals from Danny Evans (2), Callum Berry and man-of-the-match Steve Kamperman.

Blacon almost pulled it back though after being down 4-0 with only 20 minutes to play, goals from Jake Lloyd (2) and Jon Gorman almost saw them snatch a point.

Daniel Nixon was the day's youngest scorer at the age of just 16.

He netted for Elton Athletic in their 6-1 win over FC UBER. Elton's other goals came courtesy of Adam Brawn (3), Josh Clayton and Billy Sammut.

Steve Piggott hit a consolation goal for Chester Nomads III as they went down 8-1 to Cestrian Alex, Adam Crimes (3), Josh Camy (3) and Tom Richardson (2).

Ellesmere Port FC Reserves extended their lead at the top of the CWFL Link Up Division Two, despite only managing a 1-1 draw with Eastham Athletic, Ryan Edwards their scorer.

Second-placed Upton Bears Paw could not make the most of the slip, going down 4-1 to Malpas Reserves who had Lee Parry (3) and Chris Ingell to thank for their goals.

Orange Athletic continue in their rich run of form, beating Crossway 3-2 to remain in third.

Mike Sullivan, Stu Drury and Jack Morgan were the Orange marksmen with Chris Gray and Nathan Jones replying for Crossway.

FC Duddon pulled off a 3-2 win over Princes Villa Reserves with goals from Steve Whittaker, Stuart Johnson and Harry Stubbs.

Goalkeeper Bradley Gilliver was on the scoresheet for Rockville in their 4-3 win over Rossmore Rangers.

Jason Rigby and Scott Ainsworth added the others for Rockville with Patrick Easton hitting a hattrick for Rossmore.

In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 1 Blacon Youth Vets, (Jamie Rogers, Andy Bale and Mike Marsh) and Neston Nomads Vets (Jimmy Kelly, Kevin Leech and Trevor Worsley), fought out a 3-3 draw.

In CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 2 Sean O'Rourke, Mike Jones and Cormac Harte were on target for Tarvin Vets in a 3-1 win over Frodsham Park Vets.

Upton JFC Vets beat Dee Rangers Vets 4-1.

In CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 3 Farndon Vets and Ellesmere Port Town Vets drew 3-3 and Hartford Vets beat Mostyn Vets 4-0.

Over in the CWFL Monday Night Flexi 11s Chester Division Newton Athletic moved four points clear at the top after a 4-0 win over M&S Bank.

AFC Chester are in the semi finals of the cup with a 9-1 win over Cestrian Legends.

In the CWFL Monday Night Flexi 11s Ellesmere Port Division Wirral Utd go top on goal difference after their 4-0 win over Hoole Youth.

Billbeckers needed penalties to progress through to the semi finals of the Monday Night Cup after their tie with Ship Argyle ended 2-2.

CWFL Friday Night Flexi 11s Woodchurch Division now and Shaftesbury Youth had their first win of the season with a fine 8-3 win over Tipographic.
