ROCK Ferry Social stormed to a 4-1 win in the Wirral Premier Cup semi-final - thanks to strikes from Adam Lea, Josh Hughes, Chay Dysart and Kevin Fitz - against fellow Premier Division rivals Heygarth FC (Danny Cross).

Birch Tree (Kieran Hamn, Sam Adams, Liam Rose and Matthew Easterbrook) sunk Great Float S&S with a tremendous great 4-3 in the Tony Houlihan Memorial Challenge Cup Round three tie. 

Strikes from Luke Burgh and Ryan Yours were enough for Shaftesbury Youth to see off the challenge of Swan FC (Matthew O’Shea) in the David Tacy cup fourth-round while AFC Houlihan’s (Vinny O’Toole 3, Mikey Purnell (2), Dega Taylor (2) and James Atherton (2) had a comfortable 9-1 success at South Rangers.

A brace each for Tom Byrne and Connor Egan for PSV Athletic in The President's Cup semi final at the expense of Lancelyn Glenavon.

Wirral Athletic secured their place in the final of the Jimmy Core Cup, thanks to efforts from Paul Carter and Nathan Thomas in a narrow 2-1 result over Barcodes FC.

Dock FC had to thank Danny Dixon with a solitary goal to defeat a valiant Shaftesbury who defended so well throughout the game, Queens Park (Dave Bowe, Lee Gibson Dave Webb) kept up the pressure at the top of the Premier Division with a 3-1 success at Saughall FC, while a great game saw Woodchurch United share the points with Neston Nomads (Lewis Clarke) 1-1.

The only game in Division One saw Bushell Athletic earn maximum points thanks to a double from Jamie Parker and supported by a Mark Staden effort over Lions 3-0.

Liam Jameson led the way for Telegraph with a four-goal salvo with a resounding 9-0 scoreline over Bogan's Carpets.

A Carl Hamm strike earned a credible draw for Bedford FC with Poulton Victoria Youth (Sam Hewitt).

In Division Two, New Ferry Rangers (James Diable and Jeremiah Cannady) posted a 2-1 result at FC Vaults (Harry Fenwick).

Game of the day in Division Three saw the honours shared between Oval FC (John Skipsey) and Rangers Breaks (Chris Carress) 1-1.

Wirral Radio (Dan King Aaron Griffiths, Tom Williams) earned the points running out with a 3-2 victory over Victoria Colts (Ryan Coles 2).
