A brace from Liam Murray for CAD Athletic secured a place in the third round of the Tony Smith Memorial Cup over Bedford FC 2-0.

Telegraph (Anthony Daniels, Jamie Little, Adam Easton and Daryl Hellon) claimed their place in the next round after extra time in a third round tie over Poulton Victoria Youth.

A fine treble from Jamie Smith supported by an effort from Tom Finlay was enough for Lancelyn Glenavon to defeat Birch Tree FC (Liam Rose, Sam Adams) in the David Tacy cup third round.

In a fourth round tie Marty McCardle and Nathan Ellis found themselves on the scoresheet with a narrow 2-1 win for Bushells Athletic over Bierhaus (Scott Billington).

Despite a fine hat-trick from Luke Blondel for Neston Nomads in a Premier Division game the Neston outfit were conquered by the Queens Park who had Dave Webb with a three-goal salvo supplemented to two doubles each from Stuart Jackson and Liam Driscoll.

A mid-table clash saw West Kirby FC (Colin O'Hanlon and Josh Wesselby) take maximum points over Great Float 2-1.

The shock result of the day in Division One saw John Wellman hit a fine brace supported by a Lewis McKnight strike for Shaftesbury Youth at high Flying Millhouse to dent their chances of promotion.

A Gary Myers solo effort earned Lions FC a creditable draw at Swan FC.

Division Three action only saw one game with promotion chasing Stirrup S&S taking all three points with 4-0 result thanks to a superb Paul Devey treble and William Devey strike registering.
