Poulton Vics went top of the First division on goal difference following their 9-0 defeat of AFC Tima as Craig Palliser (3), Ben Winstanley, Craig Butterworth, Danny Banicale (2), Chris Gittins and Carl Barker got amongst the goals.

Nelson FC moved into the top three with a 6-1 victory over Wallasey Mens thanks to a hat-trick from Callum Morrison allied to singles from Ben Dunn, Danny Murphy and Lewis James.

Second division action saw leaders St Andrews United score late goals to beat Eastham Rangers 5-2 as both Tom Jeffrey and Josh Hitchmough netted doubles and Matt Boss a single, with Martin Marshall and Drew Taylor hitting the responses.

Lol Harris was a four-goal marksman for Seacombe GT as they beat Stonegate 6-2 with Denzil Wilkie and Tom Price adding the extras.

On target for Stonegate were Jack Grimes and Jamie Major.

West Kirby United Panthers pounced on AC Hoylake and recorded a 6-2 success in the Grove Youth division thanks to Ben Banks firing a treble and Brad Bland, Ellis Williams and Ben Austin all bagging singles, with Liam McEvoy and Louis Fox scoring the replies.

Allport Hawks claimed their first win when flying past Eastham Rangers Colts in a 3-2 victory as Harry Brassey, Jack Taylor and Jamie Houghton bagged the goals and George Jones and Harry Baldwin-Brown hit the replies.

Goals galore for Glenavon Athletic as they eased home 14-0 due to Matt Benson (3), Blake Rowland (2), Lewis McBurney (2), Leighton Clarke (2), Alex Lamb (2), Matt Lacy, Callum France and Joe McColgan all found the net against Phoenix the Flames.

Despite a goal from Andrew Mallion Trident bowed out of the Wirral DFA Junior Cup in a 4-1 defeat to Stirrup S&S.
