THE Wirral FA Premier Cup Final will now be an all Wallasey league affair following hard fought victories for Woodchurch United and Great Float S&S at the semi-final stage.

United berthed a 3-2 success over old rivals Dock FC as Adam Bennett headed two goals and man of the match Tom Holmes added the third in a great team performance.

A goal in each half for Float saw them sail past Heygarth FC in a 2-0 win that saw Mike Pickles and Sean Parrington notching the vital efforts in a solid team effort as they attempt to retain their trophy gained last season.

JASGA PV moved to the top of division One on goal difference after beating Wallasey Mens 4-1, due to a double strike from Stewart Speed and singles from Daren Pritchard and Daren Gibbons with Connor Eccles bagging the lone response.

Dutchman Cup third round action saw Poulton Vics sink Pilot Boat in a 3-2 success as Scott Naylor, Steve Bridge and Aaron Cummins found the net and Lord Nelson overcame Upton Town 5-1 as Jordan Griffiths netted four times and Carl Barker added the fifth with Joe Pugh hitting only reply.

St Andrews United had Matty Threllfall, Mike Thomas and Jack McEntaggart on target as they beat Eastham Rangers 3-1 and Jordan Crowder netted the lone reply in this division Two fixture.

Two goals from Connor Lloyd-Jones earned Manor Youth a hard fought 2-1 victory over Neston Nomads in the Youth divisions Cup third round and Jay Harvey scored the consolation.

Eight goals were shared between Oldershaw Athletic and AC Hoylake as they fought out a 4-4 draw in the Dundee Youth division as Stewart Davies-2, Joe D-Henin and Tom Cavanagh netted for Hoylake.

A goal apiece from Jack McGrotty and Tila Davies gave Wirral SB a battling 2-1 success over Eastham Rangers Youth and they lead the division on goal difference.

Grove Youth division leaders Higher Beb JFC stung West Kirby Wasps (Jay Rimmer) with a 5-1 victory that saw Joe Irvine bag four goals and Mike Amer a single to keep them above FC Phoenix who had a solitary goal success over Wallasey Wanderers thanks to Mike Mooney scoring. Glenavon Athletic are now up to third place after beating Park Royal 3-0 with goals from Scott Newsham, Jack Larsen and Josh Kendall.

Irby Youth had three-goal hero Paul Keenan to thank as they beat Eastham Rangers Colts (George Jones and Harry Deijnan) 5-2 with Ryan Morris and Aiden Walsh adding the extras.

Credit goes to both Eastham Rangers Jets and West Kirby Panthers as they played a fixture in memorandum of Connor Smith who tragically lost his life last week in a road accident.
