Ellesmere Port Town Res had Conner Howley, Jack Walker and Tom Anderson on the mark as they edged past West Cheshire side Heswall Reserves 3-2.

In the Wirral District FA Junior Cup, Overpool Athletic move in to the next round after seeing off Franklyn's 3-1 through an Andy Merner brace and Anthony Malloy.

Peter McAteer was on target for AFC Quays, but sadly it was not quite enough as they lost 2-1 away to Ellesmere Port Town Youth.

In the CWFL Queensferry Sports Premier Division, Birkenhead Town extended their lead at the top after a 4-2 win at home against Ellesmere Port FC.

In the CWFL Olympic Trophies Division One, AFC ESSAR missed top slot as they crashed 3-1 away to Neston Nomads III.

Callum Darby, Craig Davidson and Kieran Woolley were the Neston scorers with Dean Rattcliffe replying for ESSAR.

Luke Chard, two, Jordan Jones and Rich Evans were the FC UBER scorers as they beat Ellesmere Port FC Reserves 4-2, David Tushingham and Rob Horgan the Port scorers.
