CHESHIRE FA Youth Cup action saw FC Spartans oust AC Hoylake 2-0 after extra time.

Callum Brady and Kieran Cartwright netted the vital goals in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Ashville Youth also progressed with a 4-0 success over Newton Athletic courtesy of Charlie Bennett (2), Owen Goodenough and Scott Towers in a fine display, but Heswall Juniors went out 4-2 against Blacon YC despite goals by Alex Poole and Zak Dooley.

In Division One, Wallasey Oval beat Upton FC (Sean Walker, pen) 3-1 with goals from Matty Hughes, Oliver Bradley and Andy Ward.

Grange Hearts beat Wallasey Town 5-0 as John Williams, Dave Walmsley, Andy Noonan, Jack Bradley and Nathan Thomas netted, while Clarence thrashed AFC Tima 9-0 thanks to Mike Wall (5), Dan Rayner (2), Stuart Pritchard and Mark Redgrift.

In Division Two Eastham Rangers pipped Upton Town 5-4 to stay in the top four thanks to an own goal and efforts from Callum Crowder, Connor Jellicoe, Ryan Hodgson and Fraser Novell. Matty Crawford (3) and Scott Billington replied.

The second round of the Youth Divisions Cup saw wins for Poulton Vics Youth, who beat Allport Hawks 2-0 as Sam Saunders and Brad Greer scored, and efforts from Callum Morrison and Jack Cattrell earned AFC Liverpool a 2-1 success over Manor Youth, whose scorer was Niall Williams.

Despite Adam Kirby grabbing a brace and Gabriel Cooper a single, Eastham Rangers Youth went out 6-3 to Saints AFC.
