SOUTH Liverpool Youth followed up winning the League's youth division title by completing a superb hat trick of silverware.

They won the Liverpool CFA Youth Cup final following a hard fought 2-1 eclipse of Maghull Youth and then posting a 3-2 result over West Kirby Youth in the Youth Plate final.

Saturday's division one action saw Upton AA safeguard their division one status for another season, after a Nathan Mapletoft effort and an own goal secured a fine 2-0 decision over runners-up Cammell Laird 1907 Reserves.

Local rivals, Blacon YC look sure to be relegated following a disappointing 3-2 home defeat to Mossley Hill Athletic, despite goals from Kevin Garland and Jamie Rogers.

Tom McNamara, Dave Reid and Luke Wynne obliged for the winners.

Newly-crowned champions South Liverpool hailed Alex Woodcock after his hat trick anchored them to a 3-0 success at Newton, while James Steel and Mike Boyle were Maghull's marksmen in their 2-1 win against Chester Nomads.

Hale completed their season on a winning note, when goals from Wayne Smith, Brad Williams Josh Doran and Phil Doran clinched a 4-0 verdict at Capenhurst Villa.

Elsewhere, Vauxhall Motors were indebted to efforts from Kai Herbert and Mark Noakes for their 2-0 result over Southport Trinity.

In division two, runners-up, Heswall signed off with another three points, after they beat Willaston 2-1 with goals from Tommy Carroll and Chris Tolley.

Lewis Clarke's solitary effort earned Ashville Res. the nod over Marhalls, while three goal James Hooper took the plaudits after Maghull Reserves romped home 5-0 at Bebington Athletic.

Runners-up is still up for grabs in division three, and South Liverpool Res. staked a heavy claim after they overcame fourth placed challengers, Neston Nomads, 3-1 courtesy of efforts from Adam Shelton, Dave Mee and Louis Rumble. Champions, Kirkby Town Railway, won 3-1 at Heswall Res.

Dean Kenny (2) and Terry Naylor were on target and a Richard Jones hat trick was the talking point, after Marshalls Res. celebrated a 6-2 victory over Mersey Royal.

Shane Wilson's effort was enough for Capenhurst Villa Res. at Ford Motors, while Dale Higham (2), Gary Hindley and Tom Harwood made the scoresheet, as Upton AA Res. savoured a 4-1 result at Everton PLH.

An Oliver Fletcher four timer was supplemented by a Tom Brown hat trick as Maghull Youth blitzed Ellesmere Port Town Youth 7-0 in the Youth Division.
