BAD weather and waterlogged pitches caused disruption across the scheduled fixture list with the majority of games being cancelled, but of the six that survived 29 goals were scored.

The two Magee Cup second round ties that took place saw Cetco Europe dispose of Liscard Bronze 4-2, thanks to singles from Tom Farrington, Mike Ansaldo, Lee Plant and Liam Sullivan in a very even affair.

Millhouse had to play most of the game against arch rivals Poulton Royal with ten men, but still edged a 2-0 win with goals from Perrie Black and Tom Quinn, as Royal failed to make the extra man count.

The only game in division one ended in a first draw of the season for both teams as AM Plant Hire dug in to secure a point against Rockpark FC as Mike Neish registered for the visitors, but the Diggers are now two points clear at the top thanks to a single goal from Paul Crossthwaite.

Only one game was played also in division Two and saw Nelson Grove see off a spirited challenge by Eastham Rangers when running out 6-2 winners, as Danny Murphy rammed home a treble, Mark Redgrift bagged a double and Leis James added a single. On target for Eastham were Ryan Hodgson and Lee Crowder.

Dundee Youth division action ended in a victory for Victoria Colts who beat Neston Nomads 3-2 in an even encounter that saw Peter Monroe net twice and Scott Gore grabbing the winner, with the replies coming from Nick Morrison and Sean Hayward. Colts stay third but are well in the title challenge.

A goal apiece from Mike Armand, Jake Ashton, Sam Locke and Jack Downs resulted in Shore Villa beating Glenavon 4-2 in the Grove Youth division but they remain in mid table. Bagging the responses were Connor Davies and Sean Ratchford.
