TRANMERE Rovers have signed striker George Barker on a month's loan from Swindon Town today.
The 23-year-old's career began at Brighton & Hove Albion.
After spending time on loan at Newport County joined he joined Swindon in January last year for an undisclosed fee.
He has made seven appearances for the Robins in 2014-15.
Manager Rob Edwards said: "I'm pleased to be able to bring George to the club.
"With Cole Stockton injured our options in attack have been reduced. George will give us pace up front and will cause opposition defenders problems.
"We’re grateful to Mark Cooper and Swindon Town for letting George come to us."
George, will be available for Saturday’s home game against Plymouth Argyle.
