LISCARD Bronze kept the league banner flying in the Wirral FA Premier Cup when beating Neston Nomads 4-2, as Dan Banicale notched a double and Lee Davey and Craig Kaye added singles after a goalless first half.

Vineyard needed extra time to beat Shippons 3-1 in the first round of the Division Two Cup, but all three games in the second round resulted in wins for Poulton Vics (John Cousins, Rob Langton, Martin McArdle, Scott Naylor & Craig Smith) who beat Parkview96 5-1.

Wallasey Wanderers moved into the top five of the Grove youth division following their 5-2 away success over Beechwood Falcons (Sam Cafferkey & Sam Hewitt) as Matty Ingle, Dan Lomax, Jack Murray, Harry Coulson and Connor McEvoy found the net.

Extra time and penalties were needed in the Youth Division Cup to enable Upton Town to beat AFC Beb Athletic 5-4 and this after the game ended 5-5.
