ASHVILLE Youth went top of the Grove Youth division following a hard fought 2-1 victory over Beechwood Falcons as Ryan Clarke and Tom Cardus netted the vital goals and replaced Upton Town who were stung by West Kirby Wasps in a 7-1 reversal.

On target for Wasps were Jack Ledsham (2), Tom Johnson (2), Tyler Ward, Cal Smith and Matty Croft, with Scott Billington netting the consolation effort.
