Wallasey and district Sunday League: Newcomers maintain unbeaten run after O’Toole treble
PREMIER division new boys Cetco Europe maintained their unbeaten run with a 7-1 eclipse of Windsor thanks to a Vinny O’Toole hat-trick doing most of the damage and Dave Cowie hit the lone consolation.
The Cheese romped home 9-0 versus Grange Moreton and Great Float eased out Heswall Sunday 6-3, with Sam Langan, Dean Nunn and Ross Pringle netting for the losing side.
Millhouse recorded their first win when beating arch rivals Poulton Royal 4-1, as Perrie Black, Paul Cupit, Lias Black and James Clare found the net.
Black FC head division one after inflicting a first defeat on Clarence Hotel with a 2-1 verdict in which Mally Mawdsley and Ben Speed bagged their goals and Paul Sprakes hit the only reply.
Goals from Ben Stockton, Elvis Zinyama and Danny Dear gave FC Victoria their first win as they beat PLCCFC 3-1 and Rockpark edged home 3-2 against AM Plant Hire, who had an own goal and a single from Rob Bergwin as their responses.
A point apiece for AFC Tima and Upton FC as they drew 2-2, as Mike Redgrift notched a double for Tima and Danny Chamney and Mike Large netted the replies.
Autumn FC glowed in their 4-1 success over Cavendish in division Two as Danny Payne bagged a double, but Nelson Grove succumbed to Sheridans in a 8-0 reversal, due to Peter Rutter (3), Craig Davies, Dan King, Dan Kelly, Paul Williams and an own goal delivering the damage.
A goal apiece from Dan Connolly and Phil Bibby earned Sandbrook a first win Parkfiled96, who replied through Peter Griffiths.
An ow-goal and an effort from Lee Hammond gave Ship the result over Shippons in a 2-0 win and goals from Jason Wilde (2), Chris Cousins and Rob Langton earned Poulton Vics the points as they beat Vineyard 4-2, with Gareth Anderson and Tom Price netting the responses.
Dundee Youth division action saw New Brighton claim top spot after drawing 2-2 with Ashville B, Jack Stewart (2), as Cal Lavelle and Lewis Hewitt scored, but a lone goal from Connor Hallwood was not enough for Eastham Rangers as they lost 4-1 away at Neston Nomads, who had Ryan Hodgson, Josh Cooke, Nathan Fleetwood and Wes Osunjimi on the score sheet.
Luke Blondel plundered a treble for Heswall Youth as they beat Rossway United (Andy Battersby) 8-1, with Nick McNeight (2), Jack Danby, Joe Cole and Martin Whalley completing the scoring.
Christleton remain unbeaten following their 4-0 success over Upton Youth thanks to efforts from Louis Hidalgo, Alex Roddy, Sion Brisbane and Rhys Dowington.
Leading the Grove Youth division are Upton Town, but only on goal difference from AFC Liverpool (Aaron Cross) who shared the spoils with Wallasey Wanderers, who replied through a Danny Lomax penalty.
Third are West Kirby Wasps who eased home 7-0 versus Gayton JFC and Ashville Youth continued their winning run with a 4-1 verdict over Vauxhall Colts thanks to goals from Dan Kennedy, Joel Addy, Lewis Brown and Mike Duffy.
Manor Youth had Isaac Gilbert, Jake Adams and Jacob Cotgrave to thank for their 3-1 win over New Brighton Saints and the only drawn fixture in the division saw Victoria Colts earn a point from the 2-2 draw against Beechwood Falcons, as William Ryan-Paul and Jordan Bateman scored.
