VERONICA Conway Cup action saw Chris Griffiths and Gary Duckers score for Stirrup Sports & Social, with Mike Burke and Terry Cotgrave scoring for Queens Park as the game ended 2-2 after extra-time.
It was Stirrup that held their nerve in the penalty shoot-out to knock out the favourites and take their place in the next round.
Extra-time was also required in the David Tacy Cup as Shaftsbury 'A' (Bell, Large, Griffiths) won 3-2 at Allport Athletic (Jacques Bonfrer 2) and Lancelyn Glenavon (James Beattie, Dean Corris, Alfie Heywood, Andy Jones) won 4-3 at Riley’s FC (Taafe, Loftus, Ashcroft).
In the Tony Houlihan's Memorial Challenge Cup round five, Bidston Hotel were too strong for Armchair Alliance as goals from Liam Casey (2), Mark McNoon, Jamie Brown and Tommy Baker, sealed a 5-2 win.

In the Stephen Dean Bowl, Glenavon Youth (Connor Egan, Tom Fenley) won 2-1 at AC Hoylake JFC (Tom O’Neill) and John Dawson scored the only goal of the game as Vauxhall Colts beat Shore Villa Youth 1-0.
Ashville Colts knocked Vauxhall Youth out of the Trafalgar Shield, Luke Street, Callum Smith, Dean Fleming and Joel Addy scoring in the 4-1 win.

AFC Houlihans (Kyle Kelly, Tom Neal) won 2-1 at FC Ellies (Luke Ivory) in the only Division Two game.
Division three saw Billy New score twice, with singles for Brian Hilley and Liam Croft as Woodward won 4-3 against Beechwood Falcons (Declan Taylor, Connor McDonald, Karl Evans).
Peter Rynolds and Ian Duckworth scored for Shawcross in a 2-1 result against FC Vaults (Dave Ratcliff) and Wirral Spartans (Josh Woods 2, Nick King) shared the points with Old Parkonians (James Pleavin, Tony Briggs, Gaz Earnden) in a 3-3 draw.
