Wallasey & District Sunday Football League: Fixtures rained off
1:00pm Monday 11th February 2013 in Sport By Tom Potter
YET another week of decimated fixtures as the wet weather struck hard again, leaving just a few games being able to be played.
The only Youth division game resulted in Upton Youth climbing up into second place following their 2-0 success over Rossway United as Sean Walker bagged a second half double in heavy conditions.
Division Two also hosted one fixture and saw Poulton Vics share six goals and the points with the AFC Tima in a thrilling encounter which gave Tima their first score draw of the season.
Having been two nil down they fought back to earn a point as Daryl Tomlinson netted a double and Rhys Varns added a valuable single in a battling performance.
AM Plant Hires hopes of reaching the semi finals of the Wirral FA Junior Cup were dashed as they went out 1-3 in a sporting contest against Forum Athletic.
