Despite Daren Parry scoring a fine hat-trick for Cetco Europe they lost a seven-goal thriller versus The Clarence, who triumphed 4-3, thanks to a treble from Paul Sprakes and a single from Jay Lloyd in a great game.

AM Plant Hire bulldozed past Autumn FC in an 8-1 victory as Adam Baxter fired a threesome, Mark Plant a double and John Walters a single in a superb team effort. Derek Nash hit the only reply.

Poulton Vics went out 4-2 against The Black, with Jason Wylde hitting a brace of goals for Vics.

Heswall Athletic have moved into top spot in the Youth Division after their 4-2 victory away at Higher Bebington JFC thanks to goals from Will Venables (2), Ben Cullen and Matty Shaw, with the responses coming from Chris Byrne and Alex Woods.

Heswall Youth stay in close attention following their delivery of a 4-0 defeat to Stork Youth courtesy of goals from Luke Blondel (2), Louis Brown and Declan Littler.

A share of the spoils went to Ridgewood Rangers and Neston Nomads as they fought out a 4-4 encounter and saw Jack Roberts (2), Jamie Clague and Adam Thomas net for Rangers and firing the responses for Nomads were Josh Cook, Nathan Fleetwood, Harley Price and Alfie Hawkins.

The delayed Youth division Cup first round game resulted in a 1-0 win for New Brighton Youth thanks to a first half strike by Cal Lavelle that sunk Manor Reds in a dominant team performance.
