The Wirral Veterans Handicap Tournament which was to have been played at the Manor Road green on had to be postponed as the heavy overnight rain had made the green unplayable. It will be rearranged for a later date.

In the Bebington League the current leaders in the A Division are Tixall and Oxton Conservatives though Oxton have played one game more. In the B Division Cheshire Cheese are leading the way with Lever Club ‘B’, who have played one fewer game, in second place. The two top teams in the C Division, Pensby ‘B’ and Thingwall ‘B’, are both undefeated but Pensby are top by virtue of having played one game more.

In the Wallasey League the team currently top of the first Division are Queens Royal though last years winners West Kirby Victoria, in an ominous second place, are still undefeated. In the second Division Grange lead the way with two teams, Harrison Park and Wallasey RBL, tied in second place. In the third Division the early leaders are Manor Road ‘C’ with Royden Hall following them.
